Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, also known by the name Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American singer, actress, comedian and radio personality who is also known for her role as the mother of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and the mother of comic Raul Vale. Her name is associated with the creation of La Balada Ranchera, a popular genre of music that hit the charts in 1973, and lead Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist who sold two million albums in the United States.
